President Claudia Sheinbaum did not pay attention to the lack of greeting from some Morena leaders during the event in defense of sovereignty, held at the Zócalo in Mexico City this Sunday. In her morning conference, she stated that the event was successful and reflected the unity between the government and the people, highlighting the presence of business leaders, governors, and municipal presidents.

"It's minor, really. They were distracted, that's all," commented Sheinbaum regarding the omission of greetings from figures such as Adán Augusto López, Ricardo Monreal, Luisa María Alcalde, and Andrés Manuel López Beltrán, who were seen taking photos among themselves without approaching the president.

The leader noted that the rally demonstrated "great strength" and thanked the participation of those in attendance, insisting that the gathering fulfilled its purpose of showing unity and strength in the defense of sovereignty. In her speech, she reiterated: "we are one, government and people, there is no difference," emphasizing the support of the Executive branch with the presence of 31 governors and the Head of Government of Mexico City.

During the event, it was mentioned that the governor of Chihuahua, Maru Campos, did not attend for health reasons but sent a message of support. The gathering at the Zócalo aimed to support the government's position on sovereignty and national unity. Sheinbaum reiterated her gratitude to all attendees and highlighted the country’s commitment to defending its principles, emphasizing that the event reaffirmed support for the government and the defense of national sovereignty.
